Swoon is a street artist from New York City who specializes in life-size wheatpaste prints and paper cutouts of figures. She incorporates these figures into street walls throughout urban cities.

Homework: Look at Swoons work. Answer the following questions on a sheet of paper.
1. Why do you think Swoon incorporates large cut out figures with city walls?
2. What do you think her message is?
3. Do you like Swoons art? Why/ Why not?
4. Have you seen art work like this before? Where? Did you stop and look at it or keep moving?
Similar to swoon we will incorporate our in progress +/- space drawings with interesting texture.Think what environment you would like to put your plant drawing into. Would you like your final painting to have the feel of a city? Maybe you would like it to have more of an organic feel. Think of colors and textures you would like to use to create the background.
